Peace Cup 2007 Groups Chosen

The teams and groups for the 2007 Peace Cup have been confirmed. They ended up including 4 European teams, 2 Asian Teams, and 2 American teams. River will be in Group B and will have to face Shizmu S-Pulse of Japan, Olympique Lyon of France, and Reading FC of England. The two groups will look as follows:

Group A
Bolton Wanderers(England)
Chivas Guadalajara (Mexico)
Racing Santander (Spain)
Seongnam (Korea)

Group B
Olympique Lyon (France)
Reading FC (England)
River Plate (Argentina)
Shimizu S-Pulse (Japan)

Our toughest rival will be Olympique Lyon. The French side have won the last six (2002-2007) Ligue 1 (top French division) titles played! They have also been the runner-ups of the last two Peace Cups.

im not going to say that chivas will win because are best players are with mexico playing the copa america but we will make it to nthe next round with our best players

Bolton is already one of the finalists. River could be the other one, just by tieing vs. Lyon.
